Bio-diversity Farmland Training Centre
In 2018-19 we support the Bio-diversity Farmland Project Ampo Koysha run by our partner WODA. Farmers learn how they can re-fertilize depleted land using various bio-organic techniques. For more information go to the project page on PifWorld (in Dutch), or see our Bio-Diversity Farmland Training Centre (in English). WODA plans to extend the Farmland with a fishpond for training and demonstration purpose. Want to help the farmers? Donate Online via the red button right =>
January 2019: Start project "Solid Benches" and "Wi-Fi network" for Wolaitta Public Library
Last year we raised enough budget for Stone Benches in the garden and Wifi improvements in and around the Library. The Public Library is very popular and often so crowded that students have no seats! Then they go to the garden to read, study, and discuss with their peer groups. But here it lacks proper seats to sit on and Wi-Fi netwerk does not meet the demand at all.
At the moment the project is in progress. Equipment for the WIFI (on photo) has been bought. Read more at the Public Library Project page.

Two of our group of five friends left earlier than planned to be present and witness the official opening of the New Dormitories by the first Lady of Ethiopia.
